These are really modern and durable. I thought at first they were plastic like other salt and pepper shakers Ive owned. But these are made of glass. Very sleek edition to any table top compared to regular salt and pepper shakers.
They are made of deluxe stainless steel (the lids) so they won't rust or corrode. The lids seal in freshness and keeps out the moisture so your product lasts longer. They are super easy to fill. Just pop off the top and add the salt or pepper. Also easy to clean. Wouldn't recommend washing in dishwasher.
You can also adjust the coarseness to fine, medium, or coarse. You simply remove cover and twist the grinding mechanism clockwise for a finer grind.
The packaging also was very well protected. Each shaker wrapped in bubble wrap which is awesome. The package itself includes 2 shakers, Instruction card, and cleaning cloth. These do not come with salt and pepper so keep that in mind you will have to purchase your own. Over all a very beautiful addition to my kitchen.
